The period of 1981-1990, marked by continuous low rainfall years, was particularly challenging. In 2022, record rainfall and floods occurred, while 2023 faced drought conditions. These variable rainfall patterns underscore the importance of comprehensively understanding rainfall to effectively manage existing surface and subsurface storage.
